On October 10, 2014, at Rio de Janeiro’s Galeão Airport, the first decontamination of the interior and exterior of an aircraft likely contaminated with the Ebola virus took place. All CBRN decontamination systems used were manufactured by Cristanini.
The systems used are as follows:
– RI / NBCR trailer and BX24 decontamination product for the outside of the aircraft;
– LVD-X for internal decontamination;
– SX34 for the cockpit, electronics and sensitive parts.
